This is machined for specific applications; in the rim's highest strength freeride configuration, the rib is left intact. The "twinned" spoke arrangement on these 12 point/24 spoke wheels delivers both high lateral and radial strength. The oversize rear axle tapers from 25mm to 17mm, offering great rigidity and a superior bearing platform.
